Taiwan’s Feng Hsin increases rebar prices

Feng Hsin Steel Co., Ltd., a leading long steel producer in Taiwan, raised prices for rebar and scrap by NT$200 per ton this week, with section steel prices were holding steady.

New list prices are at NT$19,100 for rebar, NT$10,100 for scrap, and NT$25,000 for section steel.

On the raw materials side, US containerized scrap remained unchanged at US$364 per ton, and Australian iron ore dropping to US$111.1 per ton, down by US$1.2 per ton from the last week.
