According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkey exported around 1.54 million tons of welded steel pipes in the first three quarters of this year, increasing by 9% compared to the year-ago level.

Among them, exports to Romania occupied the largest share, totaling roughly 308,000 tons, rising by 34% year on year. Other major destinations included the UK (around 145,000 tons, a year-on-year hike of 18%) and the US (around 116,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 56%).

In September alone, Turkey’s welded steel pipe exports totaled about 213,000 tons, a month-on-month increase of 31% and a year-on-year drop of 3%, with an export value of around US$180 million.
