According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkey exported around 1.87 million tons of welded steel pipes in the first 11 months of last year, increasing by nearly 8% compared to the year-ago level.

Among them, exports to Romania occupied the largest share, totaling roughly 328,000 tons, rising by 29% year on year. Other major destinations included the UK (around 160,000 tons, a year-on-year hike of 14%), Iraq (around 148,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 3.2%), and the US (around 126,000 tons, a year-on-year growth of 0.1%).

In November alone, Turkey’s welded steel pipe exports totaled about 170,000 tons, a month-on-month increase of 9.7% and a year-on-year hike of 9%, with an export value of around US$144.5 million.
