A A A
Elmarakby Steel is one of the largest steel producers in Egypt, the Middle East, and North Africa, mainly producing billets, rebar, and wire rods with an annual crude steel production capacity of 400,000 tons.

The company recently stated that it had obtained quality certification from the Falcao Bauer Quality Institute and could export rebars to the Brazilian market. This certification confirms that Elmarakby Steel is capable of producing various grades of rebar from 6.3mm to 32mm and meets the ABNT NBR 7480:2007 quality standard.

In response to the global trend of carbon reduction, the company is also committed to reducing carbon emissions. The company's carbon dioxide emissions per ton of molten steel hit a new low in 2023, making it one of the steel mills with the lowest carbon emissions not only in Egypt but also in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
