East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry (East Pipes), a Saudi Arabia-based steel pipe producer, has signed contracts with different entities to establish a new production line for Helical Submerged Arc Welded (HSAW) pipes at its factory in Dammam 2nd Industrial City.

The project, with a cost of around SAR 48 million, will be funded through the company's cash, bank facilities, and other financing programs.

The new production line is expected to add roughly 100,000 metric tons to the current 400,000 MT capacity. The project will start this month and will be completed in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2025-2026. The pilot production is expected for the same period, with a duration of one month. The financial impact is expected in the financial years 2025-2026 and 2026-2027.
