According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkey exported around 2.1 million tons of welded steel pipes in 2024, increasing by 7.6% compared to the previous year.

Among them, exports to Romania occupied the largest share, totaling roughly 398,000 tons, rising by 24.7% year on year. Other major destinations included the UK (around 190,000 tons, a year-on-year hike of 13%), Iraq (around 172,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 1.7%), and the US (around 132,000 tons, a year-on-year growth of 1.3%).

In December last year, Turkey’s welded steel pipe exports totaled about 232,000 tons, a month-on-month increase of 37% and a year-on-year hike of 5%, with an export value of around US$192 million.
