Turkish steel pipe manufacturer Erciyas Çelik Boru has announced securing a US$32.5 million order for a major container port expansion project in the Adriatic Sea, though the specific port was not disclosed.

Thanks to its rail and road connections, the company highlighted the port’s strategic significance in European and global trade. With ongoing investments, the port is expected to become Southern Europe’s largest.

After delivering the first two phases, Erciyas will soon begin shipments for the third phase of the port expansion, scheduled for 2025.

Erciyas focuses on manufacturing steel line pipes with diameters between 10 inches and 160 inches, with a yearly production capability of 600,000 tons.
