According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkey exported around 246,000 tons of welded steel pipes in the first two months of this year, decreasing by 8% compared to the year-ago level.

Among them, exports to Iraq occupied the largest share, totaling roughly 26,500 tons, falling by 4% year on year. Other major destinations included the UK (around 22,000 tons, a year-on-year drop of 19%), Germany (around 19,700 tons, a year-on-year surge of 8.2%), and Romania (around 17,400 tons, a year-on-year fall of 31%).

In February alone, Turkey exported around 133,000 tons of welded steel pipes, a month-on-month hike of 17% and a year-on-year reduction of 10%.
