A ceremony was held in Aktau to lay a symbolic stone for Kazakhstan's first plant dedicated to producing large-diameter steel pipes. The new plant, called Caspian Pipe Plant, will feature a full technological cycle, manufacturing steel vertical pipes up to 1,420 mm in diameter.

With an annual production capacity of 150,000 tons, the new plant aims to supply domestic products for the oil and gas, energy, construction, and utilities sectors, creating more than 100 permanent jobs.

Initiated by Stal Trade, a leading Kazakh steel pipe supplier, this project will be a significant step towards self-sufficiency in pipe production.
