Vallourec, a global leader in premium tubular solutions in France, has finalized the acquisition of Thermotite do Brasil from Mattr. Announced on September 16 last year, this agreement was in line with Vallourec's strategy to offer more specialized products by integrating technological expertise in thermal insulation coatings for pipelines.

The acquisition strengthens Vallourec's position in the offshore oil and gas industry in Brazil, a key market for the sector. Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO Philippe Guillemot stated that this enables Vallourec to provide customers with integrated solutions with very high added value.

The deal has received all necessary regulatory approvals and closed within the expected timeframe.
