According to statistics from Brazil's Secretariat of Foreign Trade (SECEX), Brazil’s wire rod exports totaled roughly 11,000 tons in June, plummeting by 49% compared to the preceding month.

Among them, exports were mainly to the US, with around 6,600 tons, followed by 3,300 tons to South American nations. The supply from ArcelorMittal accounted for the largest share, totaling about 9,800 tons.

During the same period, Brazil’s wire rod imports reached approximately 23,000 tons, a month-on-month growth of 13%. Among them, China was the biggest import source with about 14,000 tons, and Egypt ranked second with roughly 8,000 tons.
