The US exported roughly 14,700 tons of oil country tubular goods (OCTG) in May, according to statistics from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC). The figure represented a 10.3% increase from the previous month and a 19% drop compared to the same month a year ago.

Canada was the top destination for US’ OCTG in May, receiving around 11,000 tons, up by 10.7% month on month while down by 23.6% year on year. Exports to other nations were relatively low.

In terms of value, the US exported US$29 million worth of OCTG in May, up by 13.2% month on month and falling by 27% year on year.
