Interpipe, a Ukrainian producer of steel pipes and railway wheels, is supplying seamless pipes for a large engineering and architectural project in the Swiss Alps. Their pipes will be used in the reconstruction of the observation tower at the Titlis ski resort in Engelberg, situated over 3,000 meters above sea level.

The project, expected to be completed by 2026, will transform the structure into a modern tourist center. Interpipe is providing linear pipes made of S355J2H steel, compliant with EN 10210-1/2 standard, a material known for its high structural strength, important for extreme mountain conditions.

Marcel Schmitz, Interpipe’s European pipe sales manager, expressed pride that their steel will ensure the safety and durability of the structure in such challenging environments. This project also meets Interpipe's philosophy of combining industry with contemporary art.
