Boryszew Group sells Rurexpol pipe factory to foreign investor

The Boryszew Group has agreed to sell its liquidated Rurexpol pipe factory to a foreign company for an estimated PLN 71.5 million. The sale includes the factory’s real estate, equipment, licenses, and technical documents, suggesting the buyer plans to restart production.

A final agreement is expected by October 15 after a detailed audit. The transaction ends hopes of Rurexpol returning to Huta Częstochowa, where it is located.

The pipe factory was liquidated earlier this year, following the closure of another Boryszew-owned pipe business. Production at the Rurexpol plant was suspended in February but remains in a state of operational readiness.
