Tenaris, a leading global steel pipe supplier headquartered in Luxembourg, has secured a contract to supply line pipe and coatings for the Búzios 11 offshore project in Brazil.

Announced at Rio Pipeline 2025, the agreement covers the provision of seamless line pipes for risers and flowlines, as well as TenarisShawcor coatings for thermal insulation.

The project, located in the Santos Basin, is the eleventh module of the Búzios field and includes 15 wells connected to a floating production, storage, and offloading (FPSO) vessel.

Tenaris will produce 18,000 tons (115 km) of seamless pipes at its Dalmine manufacturing center in Italy. Of that total, 112 km of pipes will be insulated with TenarisShawcor coatings at the company's Confab mill in Brazil. This contract strengthens Tenaris's involvement in Brazil's pre-salt developments.
