US reports m-o-m growth in Jul rebar exports

According to statistics from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), US rebar exports in July grew by 12% month on month and dropped by 59% year on year, reaching around 8,600 tons.

Canada remained the top destination for US rebar exports, receiving roughly 5,400 tons, a 9.6% drop from the previous month and a 61% fall from the same month a year earlier. Deliveries to the Dominican Republic reached about 1,800 tons, and those to other destinations were relatively low during the period.

In the given month, the export value increased by 5.7% month on month and fell by 58% year on year to approximately US$7.4 million.
