The US Department of Commerce (USDOC) has rescinded the administrative review of the countervailing duty (CVD) order on steel concrete reinforcing bar (rebar) from Habas Sinai ve Tibbi Gazlar Istihsal Endustrisi A.Ş. (Habas) of Turkey.

The USDOC dropped the review because the company did not have reviewable entries of rebar shipments into the US during the period of review, from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024. This decision was made based on a notification from US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) confirming the lack of entries.

This administrative review was initially requested in July this year by the domestic petitioner, the Rebar Trade Action Coalition.
