15 Oct 2025 14:01 reported by Joy Liu

A A A
On October 10, 2025, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) initiated an expiry review of its current trade measures made in December 2020 on oil country tubular goods (OCTG) from China to determine whether the expiry of these measures is likely to lead to continued or resumed dumping or subsidizing or bring injury to the domestic industry.

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) will issue its determination by March 9, 2026, and the CITT’s final decision is expected no later than August 14, 2026.

The products involved are OCTG made of carbon or alloy steel, welded or seamless, covering casing and tubing, with an outside diameter from 60.3 mm to 339.7 mm.
