Indian steel manufacturer Jai Raj Ispat Limited has successfully finalized the Performance Guarantee (PG) test for its advanced rebar mill in the Orvakal Mega Industrial Hub, Andhra Pradesh, India. The successful test was achieved just two months after the facility began production.

This 350,000-tpy mill, supplied by Danieli, introduces India's first application of MIDA QLP (Quality Long Product) endless casting-rolling technology. This compact, continuous process converts liquid steel directly into finished TMT (thermo-mechanically treated) bars in a single, energy-efficient sequence.

This configuration allows Jai Raj Ispat to manufacture high-quality TMT rebars while minimizing thermal losses, lowering energy consumption, improving metallurgical consistency, and reducing operating costs.
