Walsin Lihwa, a stainless steel wire rod manufacturer in Taiwan, announced its December wire rod prices after Taiwan’s YUSCO raised its 304 product prices by NT$1,000/ton for the same month.

Walsin Lihwa increased prices for its 300 series by NT$1,000/ton, kept 316 product prices unchanged, and raised prices for the 200 and 400 series by NT$500/ton each. The company said that although major raw material prices, including stainless steel scrap, remained stable, the sharp depreciation of the New Taiwan dollar pushed up procurement costs. Therefore, it made the above adjustments.
