Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe has secured a "green" delivery, supplying 350 tons of linepipes for the construction of a new second-generation biodiesel plant in southern Spain.

The plant, owned by a major Spanish energy company, will produce fuel from reused cooking oil and agricultural waste. Interpipe delivered pipes ranging from 203.2 mm to 355.6 mm (ASTM A-106 GR 6 standard), which will be used as the fuel conduction pipeline.

Interpipe's Pipe Sales Manager for European Markets, Jorge Ruiz, said that this is the company's first project in this growing niche. The delivery represents Interpipe's strategy to expand into new market segments driven by the European decarbonization goal.
