Turkey’s rebar exports climb in Jan-Oct, with Yemen as top buyer

According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkey exported around 3.4 million tons of rebar in the first ten months of this year, increasing by 23% compared to the corresponding period a year ago.

Among them, the top three export destinations were Yemen (534,100 tons, a year-on-year hike of 5%), Romania (273,000 tons, a year-on-year rise of 38.4%), and Albania (188,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 5%).

In October alone, Turkey's rebar exports totaled approximately 351,000 tons, a month-on-month drop of 4% and a year-on-year growth of 61%.
