Brazil's wire rod exports hike, imports plummet in Nov m-o-m

According to statistics from Brazil's Secretariat of Foreign Trade (SECEX), Brazil’s wire rod exports totaled roughly 15,400 tons in November, hiking by 52.5% compared to the preceding month.

Among them, exports were mainly to South American nations, with around 7,200 tons, followed by 6,300 tons to Guatemala. The supply from Gerdau accounted for the largest share, totaling about 9,000 tons.

During the same period, Brazil’s wire rod imports reached approximately 6,500 tons, a significant month-on-month drop of 69%. Among them, China was the biggest import source with about 4,800 tons, and Egypt ranked second with roughly 1,000 tons.
