Arabian Pipes approves SAR 30 million plant to localize drill pipe couplings

29 Dec 2025 15:29 reported by Joy Liu

A A A
Arabian Pipes Co. will invest SAR 30 million to build a new manufacturing facility for drilling pipe couplings in Riyadh’s Second Industrial City.

Approved on December 24, the plant targets an annual capacity of 50,000 units. Construction will begin in the first quarter of 2026, with commercial operations scheduled for the second quarter of 2027.

The project introduces specialized connection technology to the domestic market, supporting contracts for oil and gas well casing pipes. By localizing production, the company aims to meet regional demand and enable future exports.

It is expected that the facility will improve financial performance once production stabilizes. This expansion integrates new technical capabilities into the company's existing Riyadh operations to secure a stronger local supply chain.
