Vietnam's Hoa Phat Group has chosen Danieli to install a long-product rolling mill and a four-strand continuous caster in Tay Ninh Province. The facility features a direct-charging system that moves billets straight from the caster into induction heaters, removing the need for traditional reheating furnaces. This configuration aims to lower operational costs and reduce the environmental footprint of the manufacturing process.

The plant expects to reach a yearly capacity of 700,000 tons, focusing on 10-32mm rebar and 5.5-8mm wire rod coil production.

Scheduled for commissioning in the first quarter of 2027, this project represents the ninth Danieli rolling mill for the group. By utilizing hot-charging technology, the site intends to maintain stable production conditions while optimizing energy consumption across its localized operations.
