Tajikistan’s Sughd Metal plant has reached its full annual capacity of 100,000 tons of welded steel tubes. Located in the Bobodjon-Gafurov district, the facility utilizes two OTO tube mills engineered by Fives to handle cutting, processing, tube manufacturing, and packaging.

These mills have exceeded production targets while maintaining high stability and quality standards since operations began. This achievement has expanded the company’s presence in Central Asian and international markets.

Luca Cagnolati, Sales and Marketing Director at Fives OTO, said that the equipment's reliability helped Sughd Metal consolidate its leading position in the industry. The project now serves as a regional benchmark for industrial development through the integration of turnkey mechanical designs and process expertise.
