Taiwan’s construction steel producer Tung Ho Steel raised February H-beam prices by NT$300/ton, keeping all sizes and extra surcharges unchanged. Combined with a mid-January adjustment of NT$400, the company’s H-beam rates have risen by a total of NT$700/ton.

Meanwhile, E-Sheng Steel, another section steel producer, raised its section steel prices by NT$500/ton effective immediately. Under the new pricing, angle steel costs between NT$23,000 and NT$24,000, while channel steel sits at NT$22,800. Flat steel ranges from NT$23,000 to NT$24,000 based on dimensions, and round bars are now NT$21,500 to NT$22,500. Standard surcharges for length and quality remain at NT$200/ton, with custom orders requiring a 20-ton minimum.
