Tubacex, a manufacturer of seamless stainless steel and high-nickel alloy tubes in Spain, and ITP Aero, an aero engine and components manufacturer, have signed a new commercial attachment to their existing Long-Term Agreement, deepening their cooperation on various engine programs.

Salem, the Tubacex Group’s US-based company specialized in precision seamless stainless steel and high-nickel alloy tubing, handles the supply for this deal. These components serve in engine externals and hydraulic systems for platforms such as the Airbus A400M and Pratt & Whitney GTF™ engines.

Tubacex manages the full value chain, starting from material design in labs to the delivery of tubes built for high-pressure environments.

CEO Josu Imaz believes this agreement brings their partnership to a higher level. Elena Vicente, ITP Aero’s Vice President of Supply Chain, regards the deal as a way to ensure a technically capable partner for critical engine needs.

This expansion also places the US as a central hub for Tubacex, supported by plants in Pennsylvania and Oklahoma that cater to the aerospace and nuclear industries.
