A A A
Tenaris, a leading global steel pipe supplier headquartered in Luxembourg, has inaugurated a 35,000-square-meter facility in Barrancabermeja to support Colombian oil and gas operators. This US$1.3 million investment includes a storage capacity of 6,000 tons for sucker rods and pipe, an OCTG inspection line, and an accessories warehouse.

Situated along the Vía Nacional highway, the center provides logistical access to more than 20 fields across the Putumayo Basin, Arauca-Caño Limón, and the Middle Magdalena Valley.

Tenaris aims to deliver its Rig Direct® services from this location, including the RunReady™ service. This service utilizes the PipeTracer® identification system to handle accessory assembly and inspections, ensuring materials arrive at rigs prepared for immediate use. The project confirms the company’s long-term presence in the regional energy sector.
