French steel group Vallourec reduced its pipe sales by 4% year on year to 1.24 million tons in 2025, according to the company’s latest report. In the fourth quarter, pipe sales declined by 7.4% to 335,000 tons.

Iron ore sales in January to December 2025 reached 6.2 million tons, up by 14.8% from the previous year. In the fourth quarter, iron ore sales totaled 1.5 million tons, an increase of 200,000 tons compared with the same period last year.

The company reported EBITDA of EUR214 million in the fourth quarter of 2025, unchanged from the same period in 2024 and in line with its forecast. Results were affected by a EUR10 million currency translation loss and lower pipe production volumes. Full-year EBITDA reached EUR819 million in 2025, compared with EUR832 million in 2024.

Vallourec forecasts continued strong pipe sales volumes in North America in 2026 due to market share growth. The company expects a slight decline in U.S. prices in the near term, with improvement later in the year.
