European Commission receives Vietnamese copper pipe dumping document

9 Mar 2026 14:42 reported by Joy Liu

A A A
The European Commission has officially accepted a valid document to launch an anti-dumping (AD) investigation into copper pipe imports from Vietnam.

According to a notification from the Vietnamese Trade Office in Belgium on March 2, 2025, the investigating authority is now identifying domestic exporters to prepare for the potential case.

If the inquiry begins, the Commission will distribute questionnaires and investigation decisions to involved parties. Vietnam's Trade Remedies Authority is currently urging exporters to submit their 2023-2025 export data, including sales volumes and export values. This information allows the authority to coordinate with European officials and assist local businesses in building response plans to protect their market access.
