Greek pipe manufacturer Corinth Pipeworks, part of Cenergy Holdings, has signed an agreement to acquire Liberty Pipes Hartlepool in the UK for £10 million (about EUR11.45 million), the company said. The agreement between Corinth Pipeworks UK and administrators appointed by the Business and Property Court of England and Wales was signed on March 4.

The company said the acquisition is an important step in its long-term development strategy for the steel pipe segment, enabling it to increase production capacity and strengthen its position as a supplier to the global energy sector.

The Hartlepool LSAW pipe plant has previously supplied projects for major energy companies, including Shell, BP, Total, and Equinor, as well as subsea engineering firms. Corinth Pipeworks produces LSAW pipes used in carbon capture, hydrogen infrastructure, LNG, and oil and gas projects.
