India's Ministry of Commerce and Industry initiated a second anti-dumping (AD) sunset review on March 20, 2026, targeting seamless tubes and hollow profiles of iron, alloy, or non-alloy steel originating in China. The products involved are under tariff heading 7304, excluding cast iron and stainless steel.

The investigation was launched based on applications from Jindal Saw Limited, Kirloskar Ferrous Industries Limited, and Maharashtra Seamless Limited.

The dumping investigation period covers October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025, with injury assessment covering the period 2022-23, 2023-24, 2024-25, and the period of investigation. Interested parties have 30 days from the initiation date to submit data through the designated online portal.

Existing AD duties, extended after a sunset review in February 2021, remain in force until October 27, 2026.
