Taiwan’s E-Sheng Steel increases section steel prices by NT$500 per ton

On April 7, E-Sheng Steel Co., Ltd., one of Taiwan's section steel manufacturers, notified clients of a price hike for its section steel products, raising prices by NT$500 per ton effective immediately.

According to the price adjustment, angle bar (SS400, sizes 25X2.5 to 60X5) is priced between NT$24,000 and NT$25,000 per ton. Flat bar costs vary by dimension, with 38X6.0-100X16 at NT$24,000 per ton, and smaller sizes, including 25X3, 25X4.5, 32X6, 25X9, 32X3, 32X4.5, 32X6, and 38X4.5, reach NT$25,000 per ton.

The imported A36 channel bar is now at NT$23,800 per ton. Round bar rates are NT$22,500 for 12mm-38mm and NT$23,500 for 9mm.

Surcharges for length, quality, and cutting stay at NT$200 per ton. The company mandates a minimum of 20 tons for customized-length orders.

These changes apply to all new transactions starting today.
