Abu Dhabi’s Metal Park adds large-scale rebar capacity

20 Apr 2026 15:03 reported by Joy Liu

A A A
Abu Dhabi's Metal Park will launch a new cut-and-bend rebar facility in the second quarter of 2026. This setup adds 25,000-30,000 tons per month of capacity, representing approximately 10-12% of the UAE's total monthly usage. The project will support large infrastructure and energy projects by providing precision-processed steel to meet tight timelines.

By integrating storage and fabrication into one location, contractors decrease on-site congestion and improve execution.

The platform operates on a pay-as-you-go model, allowing companies to scale capacity in line with project demand without requiring significant upfront capital.

Commissioning is currently underway, with full operations expected within six months.
