The US Department of Commerce (USDOC) released preliminary results regarding an anti-dumping (AD) review of circular welded non-alloy steel pipes from South Korea. For the period spanning November 1, 2023, to October 31, 2024, officials found that Hyundai Steel Company and Hyundai Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. exported products at prices below normal value. Consequently, the government calculated a 4.19% weighted-average dumping margin for these entities.

In contrast, Husteel Co., Ltd. received a zero margin, indicating no dumping activity during the review period.

In addition, the USDOC rescinded the review for 14 companies, including Dongbu Steel and HiSteel, due to a lack of reviewable entries during the period.

Interested parties now have the opportunity to provide feedback on these preliminary results before the final determination.
