Egyptian Mercantile Exchange mulling trading in aluminum & gold

A A A
The Egyptian Mercantile Exchange (EMX) is mulling adding aluminum and gold in the trading during the second half of this year as the trade volume of these commodities is high with multiple price fluctuations.

Aluminum trading is more likely than gold. Gold trading is to be linked to procedures for publishing prices on Egyptian stock exchange screens, and it is expected to be soon completed, according to sources.

The EMX was formed as part of Egypt’s plan to develop its internal trading.
