6 Mar 2025 16:03 reported by Stanley Wang

A A A
Toyota Material Handling Europe partnered with SSAB to secure the supply of SSAB Zero™ steel, which will be applied to the forks and frames for hand pallet trucks. SSAB Zero™ is produced by using recycled steel and fossil-free energy, representing zero fossil carbon emissions.

The material in the forks and frame of the high-volume product LHM230 will see a 77% CO2 reduction across the value chain compared to iron-ore-based steel. This move aligns with Toyota Material Handling Europe’s goal of achieving net-zero emissions by fiscal year 2041.
