Magnum Mining and Exploration, an Australia-based company engaged in iron ore concentrate and green pig iron production, has partnered with Sweden's Wickers Group to develop technologies for producing pulp, biochemicals, and green pig iron in Europe and North America. 

The two-year agreement includes building a pulp and paper mill, with biochar as a by-product to supply a HIsmelt plant for pig iron production. The HIsmelt plant's excess steam will be fed back to power the pulp plant. 

Magnum also has a joint venture with India's 2x1.Digital for biochar, iron ore, and green pig iron trade and production in Malaysia.
