Ball forms JV with Ayna for aluminum cup operations

Ball Corp. has partnered with Ayna.AI to create Oasis Venture Holdings, a new joint venture (JV) where Ayna holds 51% and Ball retains 49%. The venture will oversee Ball’s aluminum cup operations, including its Rome, Georgia, production facility. 

The collaboration aims to expand the aluminum cup market while maintaining high sustainability and customer service standards. 

Jay Billings, senior vice president and president of Growth Ventures at Ball, highlights Ayna’s expertise in scaling JVs and driving innovation in sustainable packaging. The move reinforces Ball’s 2019 strategy to diversify into aluminum cups as an eco-friendly alternative.
