Electrolux Group sets new recycled materials target

27 Mar 2025 15:39 reported by Joy Liu

Electrolux Group, a Swedish home appliance manufacturer, has set a new ambitious recycled materials target to increase the share of recycled steel and plastic by weight in its products to 35% by 2030, nearly doubling the previous goal.

Announced alongside its 2024 sustainability results, this industry-first target expands from plastics to include steel, covering more than 40% of the materials the company purchases.

Chief Technology & Sustainability Officer Elena Breda said this new target will help the company drive the circularity agenda and lead itself and the industry to meet sustainability commitments.
