US to impose AD & CVD duties on China’s disposable aluminum containers

15 Apr 2025 15:46 reported by Joy Liu

A A A
On April 11, 2025, the US International Trade Commission (USITC) voted and determined that imports of disposable aluminum containers, pans, trays, and lids from China have caused material injury to the US industry. The US Department of Commerce (USDOC) has found that these products are being sold in the US at unfair prices and are receiving the Chinese government’s subsidies.

Due to the USITC's affirmative findings, the USDOC will implement anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) orders on imports of these subject goods from China.

The products involved are under Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) subheadings 7615.10.7125.
