China’s unwrought aluminum alloy imports fall, exports grow in Mar m-o-m, y-o-y

According to statistics from the General Administration of Customs of China, the country’s unwrought aluminum alloy imports totaled 89,500 tons in March, falling by 2.6% compared to the previous month and by 7% from the same month a year ago. Meanwhile, unwrought aluminum alloy exports grew by 4% month on month and year on year to 18,200 tons.

In the first quarter of this year, China’s imports of unwrought aluminum alloy products reached roughly 281,000 tons, down by 3% year on year. Unwrought aluminum alloy exports dropped by 8% year on year to around 54,000 tons.
