According to data from the International Aluminium Institute (IAI), global alumina production totaled 12.921 million tons in March, rising by 9.8% compared to the previous month.

Among them, production from China accounted for the largest proportion, with an estimated output of 7.828 million tons, followed by Oceania with 1.451 million tons and Africa and Asia (excluding China) with 1.149 million tons.

In the given period, chemical alumina output reached 719,000 tons, up from 684,000 tons in the preceding month; metallurgical alumina output was 12.162 million tons, rising from 11.086 million tons in February.
