At the international industrial exhibition Innoprom. Central Asia, Denis Manturov, First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, called for expanded cooperation to address global challenges, saying mutually beneficial projects in Central Asia could be key drivers for industrial growth. Uzbekistan, with US$67 billion in joint projects, had a 6.5% GDP increase in 2024 and sustained growth in the coming years.

Irina Kazovskaya, Chair of the Aluminum Association, emphasized the importance of Russian standards and environmentally friendly materials for bilateral industrial cooperation, and the collaboration with Uzbek enterprises in the energy, transport, and construction industries could enhance both nations’ economies.

Since aluminum is still crucial in construction, Russia is ready to share its innovative aluminum alloys to strengthen both economies through aluminum industry development.
