Kingspan Group, an Ireland-based building materials company, has joined forces with Spanish steelmaker Hydnum Steel to promote the use of green steel in construction. This collaboration will support Kingspan's Planet Passionate initiative by integrating a sustainable alternative to traditional steel in their building materials.

This collaboration is to reduce carbon emissions in the construction sector and accelerate the steel industry's transition to net-zero. Both companies will also explore efficient logistics and circular economy solutions, focusing on the use of ferrous scrap to reduce waste. This alliance demonstrates a commitment to environmental sustainability and a greener future for the built environment.
