China’s Yongmaotai Automotive to establish new aluminum part plant in Mexico

8 Jul 2025 16:31 reported by Joy Liu

A A A
Yongmaotai Automotive Technology, a Chinese aluminum alloy car parts supplier, announced plans for a CNY 450 million factory in Mexico, aiming to lessen the impact of shifting global trade policies on its European and US customer supply chains.

The new plant's construction and operations will be managed by two of Yongmaotai Auto's Singaporean subsidiaries. The Shanghai-based parent company anticipates the factory will take two years to build.

This decision is to stabilize and strengthen relationships with international clients and markets, encouraging broader use of its aluminum components in the automotive sector.
