EGA Spectro Alloys, majority-owned by Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA), has begun producing recycled aluminum billets in Rosemount, Minnesota.

Initial shipments are being processed by Crown Extrusion into sustainable docks for Dock Rite. The facility, equipped with new melting and holding furnaces, a vertical casting pit, and EGA's homogenizing technology, will produce billets in various diameters to meet most of the regional demand.

Upon reaching full capacity in early 2026, the facility aims to produce 120 million pounds of recycled aluminum billets from scrap aluminum annually and add up to 50 full-time jobs.

With this expansion, the company will produce high-quality American-made recycled aluminum billets, contributing to the circular economy in its region and the US as a whole.
