Metro Mining Limited, an Australia-based exploration and mining company, announced that its bauxite mine project achieved a new monthly shipping record in July, with a total of 714,000 wet metric tons (WMT) of bauxite shipped, up by 21% compared to the previous month and by 12% from the same month a year ago. This result set a new record for monthly shipments and brought shipments so far in 2025 to 2.6 million WMT.

The company's performance overcame prior weather-related challenges, which the company said was a testament to the resilience and efficiency of its operations.

With this strong result, Metro Mining is on track to meet its shipping target of 6.5 to 7.0 million WMT for the calendar year.
