Global primary aluminum production totaled 6.373 million tons in July, an increase from 6.173 million tons in the previous month and a rise from 6.217 million tons in the same month last year, according to the International Aluminium Institute (IAI) data.

In the month, the global daily average output of primary aluminum was 205,600 tons, falling from 205,800 tons in the previous month.

In China, the estimated primary aluminum production in July was 3.87 million tons, up from the 3.751 million tons in June. Production in other regions of Asia was 411,000 tons, rising from 398,000 tons in the previous month.
